Labor Day Weekend
John Davis Productions & Dope Jams present
Body & SOUL
Music by
JOE CLAUSSELL, DANNY KRIVIT, FRANCOIS K
Location : Locust Grove. 318 CR 22. Oak Hill, NY.
15:00-23:00
After celebrating a proper 30th Anniversary in Brooklyn this July, Body & SOUL will finally take the up north trip to Locust Grove, where the babbling brooks and sparkling night sky will host Krivit, Claussell, & Kevorkian for the first time on September 5, 2026. While the party has stepped out of club walls plenty of times in the past, this will prove to be a Body & SOUL unlike any other, as the end-of-summer lushness of the Catskills provides a natural environment wholly removed from the confines of the city. Speakers’ frequencies extended over dancers’ heads to the feet of mountains, the primordial fire is stoked and burning, the air a welcome relief rather than a compressed density to escape from. Make your travel and accommodation plans accordingly - this will be a Body & SOUL not to be missed.
CELEBRATING 30 YEARS!
Message from Body & SOUL
Thirty years is a remarkable milestone by any measure.
To dedicate yourself to something with love, consistency, and purpose for three decades is rare. But Body & Soul has always been about so much more than the passing of time.
It has been about creating a place where music, love, and humanity come together, where strangers become friends, and where a dance floor becomes a home.
Body & Soul could never have become what it is through the efforts of any one person alone. It was nurtured by visionaries and a devoted team, brought to life by three DJs whose groundbreaking tradition of sharing the turntables forever changed the art of DJing, and illuminated by one of the most gifted lighting designers in the business, whose artistry transformed a room into something magical.
But the true soul of Body & Soul has always been you.
You are the heartbeat that has carried this gathering through the years. Your open hearts, your dancing feet, your unwavering belief in what we created together have made Body & Soul what it is today.
What began on Sunday afternoons at Club Vinyl on Hubert Street in Tribeca, at a time when choosing a Sunday party was considered a leap of faith, grew into something none of us could ever have imagined.
Together, we created more than an event. We created a family.
A community without borders, united not by where we come from, but by what we feel when the music begins.
Today, that family stretches across cities, countries, and generations. Yet the spirit remains exactly as it was from the very beginning: one dance floor, one community, one shared heartbeat.
As we celebrate this 30th anniversary, we do so not simply to honor the past, but to celebrate each and every one of you. This milestone belongs to all of us.
It is your joy, your energy, your loyalty, your friendships, and your love that have written this story and carried it forward for three extraordinary decades.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for giving us thirty years of unforgettable moments, lifelong friendships, and countless memories made together through music.
We hope you’ll join us again, not only to celebrate where we’ve been, but to create new memories together, surrounded by family, united by music on the dance floor.
After all, the music has always brought us together.
It is the love we’ve shared that has kept us together.
Grateful
Body & Soul
